EAGxAustralia is the annual conference for the effective altruism community in Australia and Oceania. Our aim for the conference is to increase attendees' knowledge, skills and networks to help them to achieve as much good as possible.
Effective altruism is about answering one simple question: how can we use our resources to help others the most? Rather than just follow intuitions, we believe that we should use evidence and careful analysis to find the most important causes and the best ways to work on them. Find out more here.
This year’s conference will be held on the 28th and 29th of September 2019 at the University of Sydney Business School. Tickets include the full weekend conference with catering as well as a ticket to our Friday night keynote event on the 27th, and a social event on Saturday the 28th.
