EAGxAustralia is the annual conference for the effective altruism community in Australia and New Zealand. Our aim for the conference is to increase attendees' knowledge, skills and networks to help them to achieve as much good as possible.
This year's conference begins on Friday night with a reception, keynote talks, and a panel Q&A. The main conference then runs all day Saturday and Sunday, featuring a variety of talks, workshops, roundtable discussions, and meetups.
This year, two other events are being run in conjunction with the conference:
- The EAGxAustralia Workshop on Global Priorities, an academic workshop running in parallel with the conference on the 26th-27th of September; if you are an academic who is interested in presenting a paper, please submit an abstract by April 9th.
- A week-long community retreat will be held on the NSW south coast just after the conference, hosted by Effective Altruism Australia & New Zealand. Applications to attend the retreat will open shortly.
