EAGx is coming to the city of Jaipur, Rajasthan steeped in Indian history and culture on the 13th, 14th and 15th of January 2023! Applications will open soon, admissions will close on December 23rd.

EAGxIndia aims to bring together nearly 300 ambitious individuals primarily from the Indian Effective Altruism community and experienced members of the international community to connect with each other and find opportunities to work on solving the world’s most pressing problems. Given the young stage of the community, our aim with this conference is to set a strong foundation for the growth of EA ideas and principles in India, and create a culture of open-truthseeking, collaborative spirit and epistemic humility with the intent to find the best ways to contribute to a positive future.
The preliminary programme entails various talks by expert speakers, workshops, meetings, and plenty of time for networking. All sessions will be in English and take place on-site in person. Our venue will be Le Meridien, Jaipur, Number 1 Riico, Kukas, Rajasthan 302028

Who is this conference for?
We'd encourage you to apply if you:
- have engaged with the global EA community and looking to contribute and find collaborations in the Indian EA community
- have spent time engaging with the core ideas of Effective Altruism and thinking about ways to apply these principles in your career
- wish to engage in constructive discussions to learn more about EA!

If you need financial support to attend, and you are unsure whether to participate due to financial reasons, you may be able to apply for funding for the travel expenses via the application form.

- Friday 13 January: 4pm - 8pm: Registration & networking
- Saturday 14 January: 10am - 8pm: Keynote, program & networking
- Sunday 15 January: 10am - 8pm: Program, networking and closing remarks

Attending all programs is optional, you can arrive and leave anytime. However, we would encourage you to make the most of the conference!
Next to sessions on the worlds most pressing problems, and how to solve them, there will be meetups, skills workshops, plenty of networking opportunities, spaces to unwind and to work, and (independently organised) social activities. Among the participants, there will be ample opportunities for meetings with recruiters, funders, potential advisers, hires, collaborators and other people relevant to your interests.
Registered attendees will be able access the programme on Swapcard (our event app).
We recommend arriving at the conference well-rested. If you can, take Monday off as well to relax, process all the new inputs and maybe spend some more time with the people you met at the conference.
