A.J. Jacobs is an author, journalist and human guinea pig. He is the author of four New York Times bestsellers, including "The Year of Living Biblically," "The Know-It-All," and "Drop Dead Healthy." He wrote a feature about Effective Altruism for Esquire magazine, for which he is a contributing editor. The article followed his attempt to figure out where to donate his writer's fee. He is a contributor to NPR's "Weekend Edition." He has given three TED talks that have appeared on TED's main page and have more than 3 million views total. His book "The Year of Living Biblically" is being turned into a TV show by CBS, and will air in the fall. His new book "It's All Relative" will be released in November, and chronicles his attempt to unite the entire world in a single family tree.
