Andrew Snyder-Beattie is Director of Research at the Future of Humanity Institute, University of Oxford. Before that, he worked as a project manager at the Future of Humanity Institute and as a researcher at MetaMed.

His projects at FHI cover existential risk research, fundraising, recruitment, and outreach. While at FHI, Andrew obtained over £4.2 million from grant-writing and wrote popular articles that received over 500,000 readers. His current interests include observation selection effects, technological forecasting, and longer term biosecurity issues.
