Daniel Gastfriend has a Master's degree in Public Administration and International Development from the Harvard Kennedy School, and in Business Administration from Harvard Business School. He holds a Bachelor's degree from the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs at Princeton University, where he studied economics and public policy. He has worked as a management consultant with Bain & Company in South Africa and as a policy consultant with IDinsight in Uganda and India. Most recently, he was a visiting scholar at the Johns Hopkins Center for Health Security, where he researched U.S. federal policy on pandemic preparedness and biosecurity.
