Haydn Belfield is a Research Associate and Academic Project Manager at Cambridge University’s Centre for the Study of Existential Risk, where he researches how policy-makers can respond to security threats from new technologies. He has a background in policy and politics, including as a Policy Associate at Oxford University’s Global Priorities Project, as a Senior Parliamentary Researcher to a British Shadow Cabinet Minister, and a degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from Oriel College, Oxford University.
