Kyle is an interdisciplinary scientist with a background in global health, biochemistry, and tissue engineering. After coordinating public health and nutrition programs in Guatemala, he returned to the United States to pursue high-impact food innovation. Currently, he's investigating novel cell sources and biomaterials for cellular agriculture in the Kaplan Lab at Tufts University. Recent side projects include international and domestic network building for The Good Food Institute, and intestinal tissue engineering to study global infectious disease.
